Yard Dog of the Year & Breeder of the Year Nigel Armstrong – Yarralonga Scope.Nigel Armstrong and Yarralonga Scope with Allan Dunn and Gogetta Thor will represent Western Australia at next year’s National Australian Yard Dog Championships to be held at Mobrup, WA in 2024.

Peter Gorman took out the Dogpro Plus State arena Championship held at Pingelly.Peter’s dog Pendalup Steel scored 82, 87 for 169 on some very tough sheep beating out his kennel mate Pendalup Lucy into second place scoring 72, 66 for 138 points.

The Grace Hill Arena Trial (Margaret River) Unofficial trial will be held on the weekend of December 9th & 10th 2023, at Gibb MacDonald’s property at 366 Ellen Brook Rd, Cowaramup.

Corey Rose 18 years, became the youngest person in WA to win an Open Trial. Working his dog Boylee Pick with very testing sheep at the Mayanup ground, he scored rounds of 71 and 60 for a total of 131 points.

Neil Kristiansen took out the Dogpro plus WA Arena Open Championship for 2022.Neil’s dog Princes Delta scored 128 points on some very tough sheep. Neil also won the State Improver with Badgingarra Maggie on 92 points. Full Report
