Dogpro Stirling Arena 2026

Stirling Sheepdog Club Arena Trial held at Kendenup Community Grounds on the 18^th – 20^th September.

In true Great Southern style, we experienced all four seasons over the three-day trial. The worst weather being on the Saturday and for anyone who happened to take their jacket off prior to their run.

The sheep were generously provided by Dave and Jackie Bercham. They were very healthy and robust looking white tag Marino ewes, which asked questions and somewhat challenged the dogs but were easily convinced by the confident dogs to move on. Many dogs made the pen in the open with decent scores if they could convince the sheep to get off the bridge.  

All members were spoiled with delicious homemade treats daily, juicy steaks, salad and potatoes Thursday and Friday night, followed by a soul warming homecooked dinner on Saturday night. Huge thank you to Sarah Brown and her team, five-star reviews. 

Novice was Judged by Richard Mcguire and won by Shelby Harries with Riche Trixie. 

Improver was judge by Yvonne Haynes, won by Neil Kristiansen and Ramulam Ernie.

Open was judged by Hayden Harries, won by Grant Cooke and Pendalup Gilbert.

Huge thank you to the Judges and all the members who helped throughout the weekend the Stirling Club really appreciate it.

Well done to the Striling club members for hosting a successful and fun trial.
