Marionvale Chip (Kelpie), handled by Simon Leaning, took out the West Australian Yard Dog of the Year at the Katanning Yard Trial held on the weekend.
Chip won the event at Katanning, backing up his win at the WA State Championships held earlier in the year.
Simon’s Border Collie Marionvale Lad was the runner-up for the Yard Dog of the year. Lad had been leading the Yard Dog of the Year, but was bumped out by his stable-mate after achieving a 7th place finish at Katanning.
