Corrigin Yard Sep 9th

Corrigin is a small town 220 Kms SE of Perth in the eastern Wheatbelt. The trial is always enjoyable and the Corrigin Ag society are friendly and helpful.

The sheep were young merinos that were not easy to work. They stood up to the dogs, but if pushed too hard were inclined to split. Dogs without enough push however, struggled to get them into the smaller yards . The bigger gathers caused the most trouble.

The weather was fairly mild with thick fog keeping the temperature down, but things warmed up once the sun came out.

Due to limited time everyone only had one run per dog which served as your novice and/or open run.

The event was judged by Nigel Armstrong and Nigel was judged by Andrew Gorton and Hayden Harries.
